title : A Joyous Occasion!
My dears, my friends, my beloved comrades,

It can be declared that I am the happiest of the happiest folk to wander the surface of this Earth today. Though, I doubt it, for today's star of this post will surely possess much greater happiness than I. It is the utmost honour for me to inform you all of a most joyous event of the century.

Yes, the most joyous event. This particular event happened in the morning of 24th March, 2012, Saturday. Form 6 students in SMK Kidurong were attending to some extra-curriculum activities. You remember, persatuan, kelab & permainan. Now, I was sitting in the 6AS classroom, minding my own business, popping a little piece of Strepsil into my mouth, because I had a terrible sore throat from catching a mild fever that morning. As I was in my mental monologue, complaining about how sore my throat was, Nurul Asmidar, my classmate, provoked the attention of the whole class. Apparently, she saw something outside the classroom window, was shocked instantly, and immediately raised her voice perhaps semi-consciously to the other people in the classroom with her.

"Oh my God! Tengok luar!" she exclaimed, with a little grin plastered upon her face.

Curiosity quickly took over us lot, and a bunch of us was looking outside, eager to see the object of interest that had aroused Asmidar to raise her voice in alarm, or rather in a surprised tone. I turned my head to Asmidar as she was right behind me, she was grinning and covered her mouth with her right hand to conceal it. I looked into the window behind her. I was searching, searching, searching... I could not see anything bizarre outside at first, everything looked quite normal. Students were walking along the corridor, some were walking along the path. It took me a good 3 to 4 seconds when I realised the true surprise that I was not prepared to lay my eyes upon. It was Jeremy, yes, Jeremy Ho, conversing with a Chinese girl, Maybo, with the biggest smile and such passionate concentration, near the corridor railings. Believe it or not, my friends, Jeremy Ho has gotten himself a romantic interest and a potential love.

Who is this girl!? you may want to ask. This girl, Maybo is her name, is a fellow Form 6 student studying in SMK Kidurong, obviously. She's in the 6AA2 class, opposite to our class. She is of average height, an average body-size, with long hair and a rather tanned skin. Her appearance is rather normal, with small eyes hidden behind a pair of glasses. Yes, she looked quite normal, like every other girl around town. But Jeremy Ho saw the true beauty behind those glasses and boring school uniform. He saw her personality, and it captivated him like a spell cast by an evil witch. Maybo wasted no time, she happily indulged herself with the ever-excellent Jeremy Ho by becoming rapid friends.

Actually, if I can recall, this relationship really began in February, at the school's Sukantara. Hani and I became first-aiders as usual, and a lot of other BSMM members joined in as well. These other members included Jeremy Ho and Maybo. I believe they were not well-acquainted during this time, and they shied away from each other for most of the time, not realizing the attraction they had for each other. Until our beloved Cikgu Yong Tiong Ping, married now, assigned both of them to make a team, and to be the lookouts at the Lempar Cakera area. So off went Jeremy Ho and Maybo, carrying a first aid kit with them, and sat underneath the shades of a nearby tree. What happened afterwards nobody knew, but when they were called back to the base camp at the end of the day, it was clear for everyone to see that they had developed such a bond between themselves, that Jeremy actually left a patient grimacing in pain just to attend to Maybo, who was calling for him.

Later on, their relationship looked dim and stretched, but little did we know, the sparks still stood ablaze in Jeremy's heart, and they did talk to one another some of the time. The Form 6 teachers also took notice of this burning fire between them as they chatted away on the corridor that Saturday, that Cikgu Marina had the liberty to tease their special relationship during our MPPU meeting. As you all know him for who he is, Jeremy Ho made a neutral grin, like he does not understand anything, but we all know that he does understand, while Maybo blushed in her seat, clutching a friend who sat beside her for support, as if it was the end of the world.

After the extra-curriculum activities were over, Hani and I were about to leave, when we saw the two of them, Jeremy Ho and Maybo at the lobby, talking to each other once again. Mark my words, I've never seen Jeremy's eyes become so bright and cheerful as that particular moment. I poked Hani to show her the two couple, standing at an awkward distance from each other, like two people in skinny love. Well, I believe they are in skinny love. Maybo waved goodbye to Jeremy and Jeremy replied her goodbyes with a smile of the happiest proportions. Maybo was already leaving, but he still could not take his eyes off her. As he walked at the opposite direction, he turned his head just to see her. The girl, on the other hand, looked down towards the cement floor, obviously trying to hide the flush in her cheeks. She was so engrossed in her thoughts of Jeremy Ho that she bumped into someone and apologized. By now, both of them went to their separate way home. I think it was a spectacular immitation of a Korean romance drama, if you ask me.

And there you have it. An extraordinary event of the century. Who would have known that this tall and quiet Chinese boy, who seemed to care nothing but education, would display such manliness and succumb to the charms of a woman? Could hormones play a major role in this union, or did fate stepped in to create such a phenomenon? Let us wish both of them well, and pray that everything will go well for all of us this year.

Have a great weekend, and let's have a reunion someday.
